Been on here for a while now so probably best I sort a project thread out seeing as I never bothered with my black DT.
Bought car a few months ago after regrettably selling my black ph1 Dt. Paid 400 quid for it with a new mot and 5 months tax, it did have slight front end damage but a bumper wing and headlight later she looked ok again.
Intentions were to map it stage one and lower it with some nice wheels and exhaust.
Things didn't go to plan noisy injectors and high mileage pro steve told me not to bother before putting some injectors in, so got some of jonny on here managed to fit 3 the 4 th stuck in the head proper job.
After being around Frosty,mr fish and mike b all the time I was craving an xud again,
Plan was to sack the hdi off and get another ph1.
So found a cheap ph1 for sale locally went to view and it was wank, anyway managed to get it for 200 quid.
Iwas gonna break it for parts and keep looking but decided to make the most of both and that's were I am at now.
Spec of the ph3
Lowered 60mm ish allround
Black challengers
Black masks
Custom front rear badges
Half leathers
Home built straight through.
Plans are
Xud9
Bosch gov'd and lda'd
Fmic
A bigger blower of some sort
Gti6 brakes
Heres some pics of how it stands atm
And the donor car
Thanks for reading.comments.and.suggestions welcome

Surely not as a mechanical bosch could not supply the pressures needed for DI?

It would work similar to VW tdi engines. No need for the same pressures as the hdi.
Find a di camplate and a set of injectors with the right angle, opening pressures and itl work well.
Darrenjlobb has already done it i believe on his mtdi.
If i ever found hdi with a failed high pressure pump thats what id be doing.

Weighing up options on turbos atm as on budget.
Looking like td04, t25 or a k14-2 off a e300td merc.

So small update:
Just started gathering parts for when.i drop engine out of the donor car ready to build up the engine
Got a bosch pump, some injectors
A gt1752s turbo
Victor reinz head gasket head set and.head bolts
Maybe sorted a fmic setup
And had a go at grinding a spare lda pin I had, and shimmed a spare gov.spring assy
I also.bought another axle as mine has ridiculous amounts of play in it,
Took new axle apart which had been "refurbed"
Was it f*ck one side the.bearings and pin are scrap, so will take another spare axle I have apart and hopefully make 1 good one
