Right guys I am sold on this conversion but only from a financial aspect, a small out lay means cheaper running costs as all my driving is around town so need to be more efficient Smile

I just need to save the dollar, which is easier said than done Sad

Can go rusty inside if not been stored with Fuel in, I wouldn't risk it in your situation best to buy one that is known good you don't wanna be paying out twice if your on a tight budget

How longs it been stood? I bet it'll be completely fine tbh, ive had dry pumps that are years old fire up after some union slack/fuel flushing. Its when you dont flush them first and it pushes everything through the injectors that its baaadd... run it on the lucas ones for the first 1000 miles if your unsure, cos then you dont knakker the bosch ones.

Not sure Dave, Tom can furnish with that info.

That is sound advice about the injectors though, cheers fella Smile

Just need to do the deal now.

Anyone local to Bristol that can do the conversion as Mr Lobb is busy and cannot fit it -he is local to Tom so was hoping to hit 2 birds with one stone but hey..

Right I have bought the kit (to be delivered) but it will not be fitted straight away, so what is the best way to store the pump/kit as it could be stored dry in the house or in the shed

Fill it full of derv would be best bet other than that think it should be ok just make sure when you fill it full of derv it don't spill it all over in shed lol
