Heh, the point of this thread wasn't really to tell if it was stretched or not. In person it is more noticeable, in the picture it is barely noticeable. But you might be able to make out the start of the thread is slightly thinner than the end of the thread. Like an upside down pear.

Ginge I disagree, I think it may be stretched. Or our resident troll is at it again.
But until the OP does the sensible thing and measures the f*cking thing, no one's any the wiser Welding and fabrication projects undertaken, contact me for more information.

FFS what is the world coming to. Can't even post a thread asking a simple question without an explanation of why I am posting said thread in the first place. Anyway I don't care if it has stretched or not, I was just surprised that it would be visible to the naked eye.
11-08-2013, 08:25 PM
Oh and we all have no reason to suspect the OP is posing casual BS as he has nothin else to do... We shall see.

What the world is coming to is you trolling for no reason again.
If you think it's stretched, measure it. If you don't think it's stretched, why post the thread? If you know it's stretched and want to provide helpful material for people, then don't start the thread asking if it's stretched. Simples! Welding and fabrication projects undertaken, contact me for more information.
