Plastic deformation yo! RE: Stretched wheel bolt - Tom - 11-08-2013 *cough* Nerd! RE: Stretched wheel bolt - Grant - 11-08-2013 Measure them, it looks like an optical illusion of the contoured cap behind them... RE: Stretched wheel bolt - 306Puggy - 11-08-2013 Heh, the point of this thread wasn't really to tell if it was stretched or not. In person it is more noticeable, in the picture it is barely noticeable. But you might be able to make out the start of the thread is slightly thinner than the end of the thread. Like an upside down pear. RE: Stretched wheel bolt - Jonny81191 - 11-08-2013 (11-08-2013, 07:17 PM)306Puggy Wrote: Heh, the point of this thread wasn't really to tell if it was stretched or not. RE: Stretched wheel bolt - ginge191 - 11-08-2013 It's an extended bolt. My iPhone, the threads look identicle. RE: Stretched wheel bolt - Jonny81191 - 11-08-2013 Ginge I disagree, I think it may be stretched. Or our resident troll is at it again. But until the OP does the sensible thing and measures the f*cking thing, no one's any the wiser ![]() RE: Stretched wheel bolt - 306Puggy - 11-08-2013 FFS what is the world coming to. Can't even post a thread asking a simple question without an explanation of why I am posting said thread in the first place. Anyway I don't care if it has stretched or not, I was just surprised that it would be visible to the naked eye. RE: Stretched wheel bolt - ginge191 - 11-08-2013 Oh and we all have no reason to suspect the OP is posing casual BS as he has nothin else to do... We shall see. RE: Stretched wheel bolt - Jonny81191 - 11-08-2013 What the world is coming to is you trolling for no reason again. If you think it's stretched, measure it. If you don't think it's stretched, why post the thread? If you know it's stretched and want to provide helpful material for people, then don't start the thread asking if it's stretched. Simples! RE: Stretched wheel bolt - Piggy - 11-08-2013 this is why I replied with ![]() count the threads...one is just longer than the other! RE: Stretched wheel bolt - Matt - 12-08-2013 I count 20 threads on the left and 18 on the right hand one RE: Stretched wheel bolt - Piggy - 12-08-2013 exactly!!! /failthread....again RE: Stretched wheel bolt - ginge191 - 12-08-2013 Silence from the OP. |
