Firstly, i've already pm'd Ripp, whether he's busy or something, i don't know, it's no bother!
Basically, 205 wishbones are expensive, shit, and generally pointless.
I found some on the bay which have a better design ; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Peugeot-205-30...359fb0bdd4
what i want to take from this design is the ability to remove the ball joint and replace as and when.
Who would be a good contact to speak to regarding crafting one of these? I obviously don't fancy paying out £500 for a pair, but being able to use perhaps the same balljoints as the 306 etc. would be handy.

They're okay, but not sure whether they'd make custom ones for you. I've also developed a knocking with mine now as well (similarly to Niall's!) so I'm hoping Meyle wishbones haven't claimed yet another 306 hub...
Baker will be at FCS as well. I need to go have a catch up with him so give me a shout when you're ready to head over and I'll come with

306 wishbones could do with uprating, anyone who has a high powered diesel will tell you that they are not the best for longevity... I f*ck wishbones from Peugeot in probably 12 months...
An uprated design would be so much better if we can have some sort of adjustability... Roller bearings are shit, I don't want to be under my car every week in the snow and wind greasing up the bearings, it's a daily driver... I'm going to have a good think and see if I can try and come up with a design...

Smaller, firmer poly bushes would work well I feel. The standard pug ones have far too much rubber to move around which gets f*cked easily.
Also, "cusotom wishbones"?

I'd be a bit dubious with the linked wishbones being welded to cast. Ripp can make the 306 tubular rose jointed wishbones I. Fact I know there's some that are half made. The problem you'd be facing is having a set if one off design being made its going to cost money to develop

Yeah, sorry, missed the PM, but if £250 is too pricey I think custom made wishbones are out of the question really, unless you do them yourself.
My T45 wishbones are ~500 a set....
I have looked at the 205 ones but more just to make an arm that used stock bushes and took the 306 balljoint, without any adjustment, if that's all your after.
Custom roll cages/shiny suspension bits/general fabrication work undertaken, PM me.
Top engine mount repair/reinforcement/chocking for cracked chassis and high powered cars, drive in, drive out, 2 hour turnaround.

No worries mate.
Ouch; not even drilling a few holes to adapt a balljoint? Nt an option?

Rosejointed inner, balljoint outer, adjustable for camber, castor (properly, 3 point bolting system, so no stress on the joints like fixed ones), antidive and antisquat.
Custom roll cages/shiny suspension bits/general fabrication work undertaken, PM me.
