Restoring a leather steering wheel
#1
Just bought a second hand steering wheel and it's not looking the best. I was wondering how I could restore it to a better condition?

What products have you guys used and techniques are best?

Often thourgh of this. Boot poish always crosses my mind but obviously never do it.
I think the problem is that the leather gets worn and carnt get looking good again. Just buy a decent second hand one is my view.

black shoe polish, you'll need a proper brush to buff it all off and then some form of leather wax if you can be bothered, looks and feels great when done, not too much work to do it either . .Smile

I had a brand new steering wheel and it turned to shit within a year, couldn't get it back because the leather had simply worn away.
