HDi estate, 150k, good stuff.
Took the train up to Woking after a night shift to meet Scott.

Within 2 hours of the car being back home, we hit it with the lowering stick.

It wasn't long before Scott just gave up though..

Well, over the weekend that I brought it - I didn't actually get to drive it, whilst Scott racked up 350 miles or so.. so we came to the realisation it may as well actually be his. Yeah.

Looks like a good base to start with. Something always satisfying about a new car that needs a bit of TLC.
Audi going or is that a different guy?

It's a really tidy car to be honest. It needs a few things doing like the wishbones, but on the whole it was pretty damn cheap! Very good purchase It was hilarious picking it up though and thinking the heater matrix was f*cked, driving home for around 45 minutes freezing our balls off inside the car, then after a moment of playing with the dials the heat started coming through! Oh, and the random STOP light that came on after we'd lowered it, thoroughly confusing us. Found out the next morning that it only came on when the air con button was pressed on!

You just reminded me I need to sort the wishbones.. and now the matrix works on full power (does sound like its trying to take off), such a good weekend and of course a massive thanks for taking me to get it and helping out!

It's also Scott's because Vaughn referred to it....'are we taking your estate Scott?' or something like that!

That's not the only time he's referred to it as mine either You were there but you weren't there lowering it in the cold
Has anyone noticed how the main photos of the car with work being done are with me sat in the wheel arch and Vaughan just taking photos?

Oh no....its a w reg expensive tax one!
Also, didn't you pay like a grand for that Citroën just last week? . How come you're getting rid already?
And if you haven't done already, check that rear arch for rust lol, especially on 150k!

No! And I won't be, pinky promise. For once it's actually a tidy car that I'm happy with - I LOVE the economy, and my insurance is so cheap on it even with mods declared that I couldn't really say no. It's a comfortable drive, I'm sticking with it.
That and I can fit all my shit in it, it's fantastic.

100 quid over the space of a year doesn't really bother me.. I only bought 6 months in the post office when I got it.. I did say 'well I'm only being optimistic', but now I think about it I should of gone for the year!
Lol! I did actually buy the Picasso, it wasn't a joke.
The Scenic died so me and my mum went out and I bought the Picasso for her, so yeah I do actually have one. I bought the HDi prior to that though!
There's no rust in the arch, not even a hint of rust - quite pleased really
As Scott said it's a very tidy shell, there's a crack in the rear bumper but I'll either find a replacement or filler it and repaint.
