They're basically replacements for standard dampers - they work well, but they're not really a significant "upgrade" like the more expensive Bilstein's.
Almost certainly far better for road use than cheap coilovers mind you!

are they B4's?
if so they are OEM replacements, Bilstein list them as 30% uprated over std
effectively they are std

I was going to say there £219.00 but that seems cheap for a set of bilstein. I could imagine they are better than ta's tho so much noise from cheap coilies plus i dont want them to do any damage to anything else.
Don't think there B4's well it doesn't state that they are.
What do you think i should do then??

They are B4's - easily distinguished by them being black in colour and having the normal style damper shafts.
B8's etc are yellow and have inverted inserts so the damper shaft you can see is much thicker.

Don't know what springs those are, but MotorsportWorld are selling B4 fronts for £41 each, rears £40 each and a set of Eibachs for £128. All in for £250 plus £10 P&P.
I fitted new Xsara VTS B4s to mine, slightly lower than the 306 B4s with std VTS springs. Very happy with it.

For the sake of not starting a new thread...are B4s as nice of a ride as standard? Standard dampers actually absorb bumps etc. really well for the class of vehicle!
This post is an artistic work of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted above as fact.

B4 are great for an oem replacement - have had them on 3 cars now, would deffo reccomend. pair them with some 16v springs or eibachs.
Even B8 + eibach springs glide over everything, anyone thats been in my car recently can testify how well it rides over speedbumps :p

I'd go B8 + eibach front, B6 + 21mm bars and a hybrid arb in the rear.

Road and light trackwork - I've got a similar setup on my 306 and it works very well indeed.

Kamracing sell Eibach springs as well - if they're not on the website, give Kev a ring
