knocking noise

Got a knocking noise coming from the front nearside area when im accelerating also freewheeling, am i right in thinking it is a cv joint ?

I like the sound of that rather than a cv joint ill have a proper look tomorrow its just started tonight

Had the same thing, turned out to be driveshaft

I have the same kinda thing, usually under hard accelerating/braking but it does sometimes happen over potholes etc but I do know from having it out before, that driveshaft definately needs changing so I'm trying that first

Does it knock on braking too. Have someone look when you brake and see if the wheel moves back in the arch. If so id change the wishbone and balljoint with it
