Inlet manifold pushed up against master cylinder
#1
I've just put the new engine in the car, using the same inlet manifold and engine mounts. I used to have a gap of a few mm between the two of them, but now the inlets pushing into the MC. So the engines moved around 5 mm to the side/up.

Really can't think why,any ideas?

How far along the slots is it on the gearbox mount?

Good idea that I'd forgotten about those slots. I'll make sure its moved right over on those slots tomorrow and see if that makes the difference.

I know someone else who had the same problem, he moved it on the slots and has been fine since.
