What temperature should a dt sit at?
Now it's got colder mine is hovering just over the 70 on the guage, whereas when it was hot in august/september (can't remember exactly when) it kept sitting at 90 all the time then putting the fans on in traffic.
Not sure if something has broken as I'm sure last year it was between 75-80 around this time of year and I know it didn't get that hot last summer.

Thermostat may be stuck open so it never warms up properly. However I wouldn't worry about it tbh, the HDi seems to sit at 75c all the time too.

Mine sits below 80
It could be the temp sensor going gradually also though

mine sits at 75-80 when moving and up to 90 when sat i traffic. i have a new aliminium rad.
the low speed fans kick in at 97c and high speed at 107c so all peoples who kick in lower your temp gauge is out

My thermostat is fooked so it barely gets to 70! New stat getting fitted over the w/e I think. They should sit around the 80 mark when moving.

75 to 80 when moving if your on a tmic running quite a hard stage 1 on a bosch the engine temp will get hotter while booting it but will go back down when you go back to normal driving. that's going off my dt's past and present.

Mine sits at just above 70 but my other one sits around 80 and easily goes to 90 (but will never go past that)
