I understand that the standard Peugeot wheel bolts for the 15" cyclones are 37mm long.
I am re-fitting my Challengers again this week, and will be doing so with 20mm hubcentric spacers.
However, I would like to use my other spare set of 45mm flat-seated bolts, rather than buy another set of 55mm bolts which are just 1cm longer.
Would it be OK to use these 45mm bolts?

It all depends on what size bolts are normally used for Challengers to be honest. You'll want to add another 20mm of thread to the length of those if you're using 20mm spacers. The length of the wheel bolt of cyclones is irrelevant really

I dont think thatll work.
I have stud conversions for my aidels (from 307) I needed 70mm long studs. I know about 10-15mm in the hub which leaves about 55mm for wheel, nut and 15mm spacer.
I think for safety id go 55mm.

Great, thanks for all the unanimous confirmation, guys.
I'll definitely go for at least 55mm bolts, then.
But my only question now is whether I should in fact go for 60mm instead?
Will 60mm definitely fit? I don't want them to be too long!

Measure the bolts that normally are used with Challengers, and then add 20mm to those, it's the only way to be 100% sure and confident that you're using the right length. Alternatively go for a stud and nut conversion.

You will need new bolts as your current ones wont be long enough. You are supposed to go into the hub by 10mm which is 8 turns

While were on subject. Would anyone mind pointing me out to a set of extended bolts for cyclones or even better just nuts that will fit cyclones?

Thanks for the confirmation guys. I'll going for 60mm bolts and report back on the outcome.

Did you not mean 10mm?

He's not even using those wheels. Just take a bolt out, measure the length, and buy some which are 20mm longer.

I have just measured my bolts from the Challengers. The thread is 45mm long, and 15mm has clearly been within the hub.
I have also just measured the bolts from the original Cyclones. The thread is 35mm long and 13mm of it has been within the hub.
I think I will buy 55mm bolts.

Thread is 45mm long, you're adding 20mm spacers, buy 65mm bolts. Cyclone bolts have nothing to do with it.

The 45mm bolts are the ones already being used with 10mm spacers

I run 53mm bolts for my 15 mil spacers on vortex. So 57 or 60 whichever you can find as long as they dont catch!

IIRC cyclone bolts fit with challengers (its the same flat seat and wheel thickness) so 20mm on a cyclone bolt is 57mm but cyclone bolts don't go all the way into the hub so 60mm bolts
Id be willing to bet that his 45mm bolts with 10mm spacers have only been going in about 4 turns

The bolts might well fit but then the thickness of the alloy could be greater on the challengers, hence me saying to just ignore cyclones and measure the standard bolts which should be used with the challengers

Aye... get a cyclone bolt and challenger. Put the bolt in the challenger hole... tape measure.... voila!

I went for bolts with a 55mm thread in the end. I am using them with Challengers (that's the 6.5" 307 version) and 20mm spacers all round. The 55mm bolts seem to be perfect. They're getting in nice and deep, without rubbing at the back.
