Gauging Interest
With my other project pretty much up and running I can't justify keeping this.
Open to sensible offers on the car as it is, or more likely will break and sell on as standard(ish) so open to offer on all parts too, can supply and fit if needed.
As it is, the specs are:
Engine / running gear:
XUD9TE D8A on 199K - has been serviced regularly with decent oil changes by me, and there is a stack of history from previous owner.
TD04 running 27psi with an mbc and wastegate
11mm Hybrid pump + new injector nozzles (breaking at a slightly higher pressure)
Front Mount Intercooler
Turbo back 2 1/4 inch powerflow stainless steel exhaust
Bilstein B4 shocks all round
Lowered 60mm front, rear to match
GTi6 front brakes with Mintex pads
Saxo VTS Alloys with Toyo Proxes all round with a decent amount of tread left
Morette headlight conversion - which are either rare as hens teeth or a billion pounds to buy new
New radiator
30 psi boost gauge
New glow plugs (beru)
Exterior wise:
Its had a blow over at some point which means its mostly shiny, however the prep work must have been pretty shoddy in places there are patches where you can see through the paint to sanding marks - these are beneath the paint so can't be rectified with a mop.
Front bumper does not match, but happy to include a brand new spare bumper and new red trim - will just need spraying.
So all in not amazing, but neither does it have any dreaded laquer peel
Interior:
Standard zx volcane, which means nice comfy seats, I'll leave a sony radio / cd in too. Center dash vent is a bit loose, but have replaced it and still no joy. Apart form the its fine.
As above on the graph it pulled 174bhp on the dyno, and peak torque comes in around 3.2k so not a laggy turbo by any means. At this tune, the clutch was just starting to slip, so turned the fuel back about 1/4 turn and has been all good again.
I'm happy to put 12 months mot on it, and its currently taxed till end of July.
I use this as a daily
