Gti6 Braking pressure compensator
#1
Could someone shed some light on this please as not 100% sure, going to change my ph1 non abs drum rear axle (which doesn't have a compensator) to a ph2 gti6 rear axle which has brake pressure compensator to even the braking, would I need to buy all new hoses/pipes for compensator? if so where from? What are the pipes for it called? As been told it's fine to just leave abs off new axle on rear

You should be able to change beams workout disrupting your hydraulics. Check the gti6 forum beam change faq.

The solid brake lines finish in a different place under the car.

When fitting my ph3 beam to my ph 2.5 the lines didn't meet and were short by about 4 inches. You could either make something up to suit, or swap lines over on the beams Smile
