Are they worth it? Engine is almost ready to drop into the car so now is an obvious time to fit one but is it really worth the expense when that money could be spent on a engine loom?

If your gonna wonder if it was worth it... Then probably not. Money spent better elsewhere I'd say.

May as well go the whole hog and get a lightened altanator pulley too. Spoox sell them on eBay.

My xsi has lightened crank and flywheel, engine revs a lot easier, the revs really pick up quickly and puts a lot less strain on the engine..... You lose all engine braking but it's worth the trade off in my opinion, if I was closer you'd be more than welcome to have a drive!!!!!
