Lightened flywheel - Niall - 15-11-2013 Are they worth it? Engine is almost ready to drop into the car so now is an obvious time to fit one but is it really worth the expense when that money could be spent on a engine loom? RE: Lightened flywheel - Jake - 15-11-2013 If your gonna wonder if it was worth it... Then probably not. Money spent better elsewhere I'd say. RE: Lightened flywheel - cully - 15-11-2013 yes to worth it if i can find a pulley and fly before assembling my bottom end i would get it all ballanced too engine loom is DIY RE: Lightened flywheel - darrenjlobb - 15-11-2013 IMO yes worth it 100%... RE: Lightened flywheel - Chris - 15-11-2013 May as well go the whole hog and get a lightened altanator pulley too. Spoox sell them on eBay. RE: Lightened flywheel - Niall - 15-11-2013 Cheers Chris wish I was picking one up tomorrow! Lightened flywheel - jay5488 - 17-11-2013 My xsi has lightened crank and flywheel, engine revs a lot easier, the revs really pick up quickly and puts a lot less strain on the engine..... You lose all engine braking but it's worth the trade off in my opinion, if I was closer you'd be more than welcome to have a drive!!!!! RE: Lightened flywheel - Paul_13 - 17-11-2013 My mate might have one for sale I'll have a word RE: Lightened flywheel - Niall - 17-11-2013 (17-11-2013, 10:33 PM)Paul_13 Wrote: My mate might have one for sale I'll have a word Please mate |
