Help! Ph1 to ph2/3 switch looms.

Hi all im trying to piece together how I can put my ph2 window switches in my ph1 one. The passenger side is easy, but I just cant work out the drivers side. There was a old guide on how to do it but the wires he stated on the later switch loom doesn't match the plug I have.

Could anyone help? Heres a picture of the plug I manage to get my hands on.

   

This one was out of a ph3.


Here is the order I found which doesn't match up with my ph3 plug.


1. Orange > White
2. Cream > Blue
3. Red > Grey
4. Red > brown
5. Red > Green
6. Cream > Lilac
8. BLANK
8. Earth > Connect to the other 4 earths. (Green and yellow)

Now, the numbers are worked out like this, so find out which way up it needs to be.

The plug he used was out a ph2? Which makes me believe they changed the colours on the plugs on the ph2 and ph3 would anyone be able to peace together which wires on the ph3 plug go's with the colours on the ph1 loom that is stated above.

Just get a complete door loom and pop it straight in. Much easier IMO. Just make sure it has a non auto drivers window though

hmm I read something about the auto switch, why I went out and got myself a switch without that feature, also without the electric mirror bottom, there's no 306s round my area atm why I had to go second best and get the plug only

No, I went and got a phase 2 switch that didn't have the feature to match my loom.

What way are you doing it, are you cutting your own ph1 loom at the elec window switches and then joining the ph2 connectors into it?

Do you know the colour/numbers of the wires on your ph1 loom?

Yeah im only adding the plugs on the end of my ph1 loom, the colours on mine are.
1. > White
2. > Blue
3. > Grey
4. > brown
5. > Green
6 Ref in order on the plug

Can you get the numbers of the ph1 loom wires? I'll tell you then what to join up cause my diagram doesnt tell me the wire colours for the ph1.

Had another look there at a diagram and you should connect yours up like this:

Ph1 WHITE ---> PH2 RED (6000)
PH1 BLUE--->EITHER PH2 RED(606)OR BEIGE(607) If you connect them wrong pushing down on the switch with put the window up.
PH1 GREEN ---> EITHER PH2 RED(606) OR BEIGE (607) As above.
PH1 GREY ---> EITHER PH2 BEIGE(604) OR RED(605) As above.
PH1 BROWN ---> EITHER PH2 BEIGE(604) OR RED(605) As above.

Then you have your usual earths.
