Right guys having issues with the DT AGAIN.
So the DT has been having issues starting again. Its really hit and miss. It does it when its cold but it will do it if its warm and its only been turned off 10mims before. It done this last year then stopped doing it all of a sudden its started doing it again (maybe the cold weather) but it isnt the starter and it isnt the battery and i wouldnt of thought it was glow plugs as it does it when its warm. Any ideas?

Agreed probably air getting in but if it's not even trying to fire then itcould be the solenoid, put a 12v feed to the top of it and you should hear it click

Sounds like an air leak to me. Also sounds like you've got the best solution to the problem!
