Wiring tacho from scratch... Need help!!!!
#1
I'm planning on fitting a rev counter to my 1994 306 with a nad xud in it with the plan of reusing the loom when I swap my xud9te into it in the future.
I have the rpm sensor off my xudte that came out of a 1999 phase 2 d-turbo and I've also bought a phase 1 jaeger cluster with a rev counter unit. I've already checked and the loom and it docent have a plug in the engine bay for the sensor and the plug for the cluster has the 2 pins for it but no cable coming of them so all I would need to do is just crimp 2 wires on to them pins I guess but I have no idea on how to wire it from the cluster to the sensor.
The cluster has 2 pins for the rev counter and the sensor has 2 wires so what would I need????
