The little black pipe is the drain for water that gets sucked in to the fan.
I would say the water might be coming from the damaged door weather curtain. Have you changed the speakers in the car?

Yeah I have aaaaages ago and been fine sense but that little black pipe has snapped at the join in the top so I would assume its coming from there ?? And how does water get into the fans does it run Down the scuttle

Door seal, heater matrix or sunroof.
It'll be one of those.
Or a large rust hole underneath.

That little pipe is snapped on pretty much every 306 I think...been a while since I've seen one still attached lol.
There should be a foam thing over the top of the cabin air duct under the scuttle to deflect the water from that area anyway though, unless the drain hole under the scuttle is full of leaves anyway...might be worth a check.

But it was directly under that broken drain of pipe so I've assumed it's that just checked scuttle no blockages to speak of and had heaters on and no leaks :-s
Would maybe just continuous heavy rain like heavy heavy rain maybe just not drain away fast enough and make its way in through that pipe ??
