Evening All
I'm new to this so be gentle.
I'm been trying to carry out a stage 1 tune on my phase 2. I've done as darrens videos say, I take the bung out, rocking the car and no matter how long I do it for the screw won't appear. Can someone help me please in located in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire,
The car has the t2 turbo,n
Any help is greatly appreciated

easier to jack the car up, a mirror and a torch help a ton too, i passed it when i didnt have a torch on it

I found it easy enough just rocking/ rolling the car backward while left in 5th gear, just keep going till you see it!, also don't do what I did the first time and dropped the bung down into the engine and couldn't get it back. Rookie error!

I just used to put the car in 5th and roll it back slowly using the interior mirror to find the key

when I had a lucas, I failed at tuning it.
First I couldn't get the screw to appear, eventually the 5th gear gave way and the car rolled across the road, downhill and onto the green opposite my house. Luckily I chased it and jumped in and applied the brakes, otherwise that would have been an expensive mess.
Secondly, I dropped the cap in the engine bay, had to get another one.
Thirdly, upon removing the cap I chipped the pump housing, so the pump leaked.
I gave in and got a bosch fitted after that.
