Tru dat, although the 'very good condition' bumper certainly isn't :? and I only received half the bloody thing too

Well there's scrapes and scratches everywhere, and the paint is dull and faded.
And the whole support structure on the back of the bumper that mounts to the car was missing. Cue epic bumper surgery.

So you bought a bumper in supposedly good condition? And it turned it to be that? Who'd you get it from?

If I'd bought a bumper like that it would have gone straight back

Meh, it was dirt cheap and it'll do for now, wanted a cheap fix, and got one, just a little less simple than I'd have hoped. I'll get it sprayed up eventually.

You. BASTARD.
I miss my '6 so muuuuch :'(
Also, I am DEFINITELY coming down to Pornwall on a roadtrip, most likely with Foobs' broken Phase2 trying to keep up with me, so you must make yourself available to meet at exeter services, and be prepared to take the Postbridge road over the moors and on down to cornwall. It. WILL. be done.

And you shouldn't have been a pussayy and just run it through winter!
And when is this likely to be? Obvs I'm at uni at the moment, conveniently finish for summer the Friday before FCS

I know, i read this first on tapatalk just before going to sleep, so it didnt show up in 'new posts' until I remembered a few days later and sought it out to defend my good name
I would've but for 2 reasons.
1. my paintwork took enough of a battering last winter, so I'm very put off by driving it in winter again. I do a LOT of miles on shitty roads past farms and fields, mostly following trucks etc, so the roads get covered in stones and mud from the fields and it all ends up twatting the front of the car! Which I hate!
2. Since buying the house before Christmas i literally can't afford the fuel! With the 106 nad, I can save loads of cash that I would've spent on insuring the '6 again and fuelling it, and put it towards shinyshiny after I'm financially on an even keel again from the house purchase... Method to the madness so you see
I'm really hoping I'll have it back on the road (or at least roadworthy) for my birthday in April, but I'm not holding my breath. So long as it's all sorted for FCS'12, I'll be happy. I just desparately want it back cause I miss the way it drives!!
I reckons we'll do some sort of roadtrip either June, July or August. Dunno yet, this is a very 'barebones' idea at the moment; needs some thinking about
I'll be better off firming up plans closer to April so I have a better idea of when the car'll be ready!
I should stop rambling at this point... lol

Yeah I know your reasons, you're still a fanny though
But tbh you've got a pretty epic replacement, a mate of mine had a NAD and it was awesome lol, hilariously slow though
Ah cool, I'll be home then, I'm assuming it'll be a weekend as hopefully I'll be working full time for most of the summer (will probably splurge all the cash I make on the car tbh :p), but yeah I'm keen!
