Think this is the correct place for this thread (please move if not).
I was just looking on Wikipedia about the XU engine and it says under the XU10 that there are two different types of XU10J4 for the 306 S16 (and ZX 16v). They are:
XU10 J4D/Z / RFT 150 PS (110 kW; 148 hp) 16-valve DOHC catalyst models: Citroën ZX Coupé 2.0 16v
Citroën Xantia I 2.0 16v
Peugeot 306 S16
Peugeot 405 mkII (1994 on)
and then the:
XU10 J4/L/Z / RFY (Mi16)[4] 152 PS (112 kW; 150 hp) 16-valve DOHC catalyst
Models: Peugeot 405 2.0 Mi16
Citroën ZX 2.0
Peugeot 306 2.0 S16
I was under the impression there was only one type of engine for these models, with the Mi16 head. The first one doesn't say Mi16 but is still 16v. I can only find pictures of the XU10J4 for these models with the Mi16 head and plastic manifold.
Any ideas? Just curious really!
