So JonnyB gave me a really old skateboard at Ace. It was no use for converting into a stanceboard in its own right but the back wheels were a good size and so ive fitted them. Heres a comparison of the size, white wheels are OEM, red is the new ones.

   
   



Heres how they look as a pair, got a mental bit of tuck and poke going on.

   
   



And they've given me the ground clearance i need to ride the board although only tried it 10ft up my garage. Look, Ground Clearance!!

   



Oh and got some tasty rake going on too.

   



I might have to put some narrower trucks on the front for some stupid tuck and it needs slightly bigger fronts and im not keen on the metal wheels off jonnys board.

Still want to build one with stupid wide trucks and no cutouts.

Ha ha quality bud!! Them metal wheels used to have a strip of rubber round them, they was the rims back in 79 ha ha

So revival of the stanceboard project seen as its 7 months since an update.


The board was finished a while ago, I still cant ride it for shit. Its got wider wheels on the rear and some bits of blue silicone hose over the front bolts for looks. Really tempted to rip off all the stickers and have plain wood underneath for a tiny bit more ground clearance.

   
   
   


Hopefully making an appearance at the Chichester meet next weekend.

Oh and standby for a StanceBoard video before the end of October for lolz.

thats pretty low when you have to take the stickers off for more clearance!
