Just hooked the pressure bleeding kit up to the S16 again and yep the compensator is pouring it's heart out. Time to find a replacement!

I took the thermostat out earlier fired the beast up and all seemed to be normal. Even crankcase pressure was normal. Very strange as it is a new thermostat, I guess it is a bad one.

Thanks for the reply, I'm in two minds just to give the gasket i've got a try. But just in case I need it in the future where is the best place to get the repair gasket without paying main dealer ...
