Looking at getting a 2nd hand axle now. Is there an easy way to tell if there f*cked whilst there off the car? Without stripping it right down? Thanks

Had the car 3 years so sadly no welding there, just seized itself solid!! :(

I can confirm sadly that it is the trailing arm that is seized!! Could this axle still be rebuilt?

Hi, Ive got a 306 hdi estate and the rear beam is really stiff on one side only The stiff side literally doesn't move so making the ride really hard (unbearable) over any type of bump / pothole....

Definately reccomend a stage 1 remap and also try and de-cat the car. Personally ive got cyclones off the gti6 for my estate

Yea screw out with a 10mm pretty tight but doable and yea couldn't find a replacement anywhere but peugeot But they only sell as a whole kit!

Mine was very brittle suppose its constantly getting really hot then cooling down, doesn't help it. Got a 10mm spanner on it right near the top where it meets the turbo!

Yea mine snapped when doing mine. Be gentle but not too gentle as it needs to be fairly tight. Might be best getting new ones tbh!
