Brake/tail light bulbs

I've got a brake light out at the moment, it blew the other day, and i havent got any spare, so need to buy some. I have, however, been toying with getting a set of led or smd replacements, but there are such a wide selection on the bay. I was wondering if anyone on here has got led bulbs in their rear lights, if so, where did you get them, what type are they, and do they do both tail AND brake light like the dual filament original bulbs?
