At first I thought I hadn't realised it was a gigapixel image, then I zoomed in! Pretty crazy though.

Are they not composed of loads of smaller res photos though?

Didn't know a Gp sensor was in production yet

correct they are just loads of standard photos stitched together.

Yeah, thousands of photos are taken and stitched together. Regardless, it's still awesome how well it can be done.

I might try it. It'll take me 5 broken cameras and a lot of farting about doing nothing and posting a project thread but dammit i'll get there by FCS'18
