GTI 6 ecu problems

Theoretically any of the IAW ECUs will work providing the memory chip is swapped. They are all the same ecu in effect with the only difference being the map, security and sometimes the design of the plug. personally though, id just fit another proper model

I forgot to post here. It worked with the cheaper ECU. Many thanks for your advice!
