I've a couple of questions on the compatibility of instrument clusters. Firstly, would a phase 2 cluster work on a phase 1 car and secondly, would a petrol cluster work for a diesel? I don't think the pettys use flywheel sensors for some reason but I could be wrong.

Notsure about p1 to p2 but diesel and petrol gauges dont mix

ph2 wont work on a ph1. ph2 and 3 are interchangeable but not 1.
and if its on a hdi, petrol clocks will work fine but i doubt it is otherwise i doubt you would of asked the first question!

Diesel phase 2/3 clocks work fine in petrol phase 2/3 but the rev guage reads wrong
