If the alloys have bubbled/oxidized, you will have to take the paint right the way back to alloy (80 disc is useful). or get them sandblasted.
Then work your way up the grades (80 > 180 > 320 > quick 500) to get all the deep scratches out from the 80 and to make the alloys smooth.
Blow them off an panel wipe. mask up. blow and panel wipe again. and let spraying happan! Smile
Hope this helps or gives you an idea anyway.

little bit longer but id miss the 80 imho just to avoid getting to 500 and realising theres huge scratches on it Smile but hey up to you
I guess thats where the opinion of a qualified bodyshop employee and a amateur refurber differ then..... Blush

haha must be ben.

if you get to 500 and see huge scratches you obviously rushed the process and are an idiot for doing so.

No matey Cheadle in stoke on Trent, by the way, jus managed 2 root my boost gauge air line thru the bulkhead next 2 the servo. I found the little rubber hung and poked it thru, way better now, all I gotta do is move my gauge from above the ash tray into the drivers side vent. I believe they jus pop out and need 2 get myself a 52mm hole saw 2 cut it out, then just lengthen the wires 4 it, should b done 2moro, want a more factory look. Will try n get some pics on here asap peeps, thanks 4 all the advice about my gauge n wheels, wicked site!!!!!!!!
