Just saw this had been posted on .net -

Nicest looking 306 I think I've seen. Don't often see those wheels either.

God that's things been for sale for years now. Does look nice but reckon that garage regretted taking it now!

Didn't know it had been around for so long! They are asking a lot for it though even when it is in that condition and with that engine..

terrible advert though, doesn't say anything that's actually been done to it. although being a garage I'm guessing they don't really know them selves

Has a high-boost 306 ever sold as a whole car?

As said, it has been about for ages,
It wouldn't surprise me if the garage let it go for a fraction of that price to get it off the forecourt.
On the 306 waiting list.

The guy that owns it is on the 6 forum. Uses the car occasionally I believe.

That car is porn.
If its still forsale once all my debts are paid off I'd consider making an offer for it.
Such a badly written advert. If they went into a little more detail I'm sure they could shift it quite quickly

Yeah but asking £7k over its value is a bit much.

17" Wheelmania Lion alloys finished in Astor IIRC.
A car is worth whatever someone is prepared to pay for it, so fair play for listing it at that price.
If you won the lottery tomorrow and money was no object, it would make a nice little toy. You could even consider the possibility that the owner / dealer doesn't particularly want to sell it, and is instead keeping it for themselves but advertising it at £10k on the off-chance that someone else wants it that badly...
Disclaimer: The above is not to be taken to heart and is probably a joke, grow up you big girl.

If you wanted to high boost a 6 it would be more than that whole car so its not as bad as it looks the wheels are 1k+ alone

I know the owner of the dealership was using it himself, don't think he was in a rush to sell anyway.

Sounds like he doesn't want to part with it
Hence the ten grand price tag.

Yep, the owner wanted the car, part ex'd Joker's motor for a new shape Focus RS. There were rumours it was heading off to Hong Kong for a while too...

Tom it's worth a lot more than 3k....
the high boost conversion alone is nearly 10k...
and Ben yeah, Rich Walker the owner of Lynx Engineering sold his high high boost (running 460bhp IIRC) complete to ballardpaul of the 6 forum, who sold his low-cost China on complete too! Not that I keep an eye out for boosted 6s for sale or anything..... :Ninja:

Its still a 10 year old 306, regardless of how quick it is. I know a lot was spent on it...but we all know you dont get the money back from mods! It's never worth 10k lol....

Tom, stop digging.
It's worth a million to a buyer who wants to spend that much.

It's not worth £10k, but with the condition that's in, I know many people who would pay a fortune for that... It's finding the right buyer in the right climate...

Your right, you don't get your money back...
In my case, I got more back when I sold my high boost setup. 6.3k iirc
