Helloo, I am new to all this but my mate told me to join up as im currently looking to buy a 306, hopefully getting one monday if all goes well, only 1.4 as insurance is expensive for 18 yr olds!! Ill put pics up when got it.

Welcome aboard buddy. Glad to see people buy 306s still.
I used to pay sh** loads for insurance i dont know how they expect young
drivers to afford it.

Im now 28 so my insurance is quite reasonable now.
I pay about £500 on a 2.0 hdi which is only 1 ins group
higher than the 1.4

Try and insure a dturbo, I promise you will not regret it.

vCheers man I know insurance is ridiculous ! I pay 2068 on a 1.2 fiat punto atm with a tracker so I know my quote on th pug is gonna be a bit but worth it Smile a dturbo dont think they wpuld even quote me haha but I will be getting one one day ! Thanks buddy!

You'd be surprised, DT's are a low insurance group, so it's worth a go.

Welcome along,

Its defo worth getting a quote for a DT they do tend to come out cheaper than 1.4s from time to time as they arnt considered a new drivers car as much as 1.0/1.1/1.2/1.4s

I agree with puglove, when i first got a Dturbo it worked out cheaper than the 1.4 and never looked back Smile welcome aboard
