With carriage and shipping that works out cheaper Steve Smile.

Was tempted by these when they were £32.50 a corner, but having spoken to Fozz and Vaughan the wet grip puts me off somewhat. Will stick with my Mickey Mouse ones until I have more to spend. I miss my Avons from the Audi so may look at them

FYC.

Plus this is in it's own thread, not just a general tyre thread.

Glad someone else agrees now............I bought some when everyone raved about them, and wasnt even happy with thier wet grip on the 1.4!! Still drive sensibly in the wet and there shouldnt be a problem. I have bloody expensive goodyears now (6mm part worns though!) and I dont rate these in the wet either tbh!

They are ok for the price but they have very soft sidewalls and yes the grip is pritty average in the wet.

Soft sidewalls? You should try rainsports, makes it look like I've got a half-flat all the time.

My Toyo's have been fine, had them on all 4 corners or 2 at the front or 2 at the back and they've great whichever configuration. Currently at the back with rainsports 2's upfront no problems so far.

No trouble in the rain either, especially not compared to the 14" avons that were on the back, spun on 2 seperate occasions with those.

Sweet, I'll have to look around for some more deals on budget tyres in the wrong size and post a thread about it!

:p
Disclaimer: The above is not to be taken to heart and is probably a joke, grow up you big girl.
