Welding

Well, my 6 is now garaged, and I've been doing work to it over the last few months, now I have found that the previous owner has jacked it up at the wrong point, and there is now a small hole and rust on that patch.

Does anyone know how much it would roughly cost to fix?

depends where that point is and how extensive the repair needs to be.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I would say the hole is about an inch across? Everything else around it is still solid.

The hole is underneath the ramp pad in this pic.

Looks like you've got problems on the chassis rail there as well, might be worth having a better check over if you're bothered about rust. Is the hole on the sill or in the floorpan? Is it on a curve, in a corner or on the flat?

It's only on the floor pan on the flat, nothing else's around it, apart from the rail.
