Noticed recently the Gti is starting to wiggle.
It feels like there's a bit more play in the steering before getting any result and when going over bumps/hard corners it feels like the backend is coming around
It's not just me being over enthusiastic or slippery roads as its getting worse and doing it in places it never been an issue before.
I've not had a proper chance to look at it yet but wanted some advice about where to start.
And no, unfortunately haven't done a RWD conversion

As above, sounds like classic beam mount symptoms.

if it has solid mounts id go for shit rear tyres on a damp road or an imbalance of the brakes or even using the brakes into the corner

Had a nose under last weekend, definitely solid mounts and I've got yet another goosed rear shock, that's now 2 on the same side in 7 months

Koni yellows? Mine have been great and still look and feel as new, including after having been on sprints, prescott etc.
Strange!

Is a bit weird, although don't know what previous life they've had.
need to see how much Koni charge for a refurb and maybe set them a little stiffer
