Good to see it all back together, fair play for sticking with it.

Just been enjoying this lately, Once i fix the landrover and am back up to having 2 roadworthy vehicles i will start the modifying Smile

So far the plan is:

Cup / R26 shocks with H&R -30mm springs
Wheel refurb
20mm Wheel spacers
Straight pipe
Dpf delete
Cat delete
ITG panel filter
new front mount cooler
stage 1+ map
Clutch and SMF conversion if possible

Should see around 210bhp with 345lb/ft of torque Smile

Quick flash over with QD then a quick coat of SRP and a good coat of Meguirs liquid carnuaba topped off with some UDS Big Grin comes up well for ages afterwards with each wash i find.

Everyone seems obsessed with show waxes currently and waxing the car every week! i prefer a durable and protective finish for a daily driver.

Can definitely recommend fusso99 softwax, epic epic stuff and you will not beat the finish and quality for the price

I'm currently using Nattys Blue paste wax...as I have for at least 3 years so time for a change. It lasts well on the roof but doesn't repel diesel soot and mud around the doors and rear for long.

The 306 just gets a blast of quick detailer before I go to a meet or anything lol.

So it transpires that poor meggy needs proper DCi CUP spec shock absorbers.. bloody renaultsport doing a proper job of things eh Wink

Suspension i ordered is completely wrong, should of done my homework! but been chatting to a bit of an expert with this exact model megane and purchased his DCi CUP spec shocks with h&r 25mm springs Smile suspension sorted!

Also giving the shortshift mod a bash tonight:

As you can see, by placing another identical balljoint on the gear arm just ever so slightly further along than the original shortens the gear throw by around 40-50% which should make a nice positive difference to the gearchange Smile

Also doing pads all round tonight and gonna replace a few vac pipes ive noticed wearing thin near the bulkhead. busy night in the unit tonight!

I got H+R springs on the 306.. VERY impressed, mine are 30-40mm, probably nearer 40.
Given the choice between Niall and the sheep. I would choose the sheep!
