Exhaust Doughnut Ring?
#1
Hi guys,

I have bought a new gasket doughnut ring now from both eurocarparts and eBay and both have been too large for the pipe? Any idea why this could be? Did early HDI's have a smaller outlet on the turbo, or did both places just get it wrong and I will have to try somewhere like Peugeot who do different sizes?
Got me a bit annoyed lol.

Thanks Smile

You got a gti one, the only place I could get the correct size was Peugeot I have 4 different sizes from failed ebay/motorfactor attempts. Just go direct to Pug, they are cheap.

Tried Krispy Kreme? Wink

I've only ever bought them from Peugeot with the rest of the fitting kit, I don't believe any HDi were a different size.

We got one with Sams petrol exhuast that was a bugger to get on though, I guess tolerances aren't as good on the afterkarket ones.

Part number is 1797 18. TBH if you give that to any motor factor they should be able to sort it for you.
Welding and fabrication projects undertaken, contact me for more information.
