Exhaust Doughnut Ring? - JTaylor2005 - 17-12-2015 Hi guys, I have bought a new gasket doughnut ring now from both eurocarparts and eBay and both have been too large for the pipe? Any idea why this could be? Did early HDI's have a smaller outlet on the turbo, or did both places just get it wrong and I will have to try somewhere like Peugeot who do different sizes? Got me a bit annoyed lol. Thanks RE: Exhaust Doughnut Ring? - HDi--Power - 17-12-2015 You got a gti one, the only place I could get the correct size was Peugeot I have 4 different sizes from failed ebay/motorfactor attempts. Just go direct to Pug, they are cheap. RE: Exhaust Doughnut Ring? - Toms306 - 17-12-2015 Tried Krispy Kreme? I've only ever bought them from Peugeot with the rest of the fitting kit, I don't believe any HDi were a different size. We got one with Sams petrol exhuast that was a bugger to get on though, I guess tolerances aren't as good on the afterkarket ones. RE: Exhaust Doughnut Ring? - JTaylor2005 - 17-12-2015 Ahhh what a pain haha I will pop up to Peugeot and get one in the next couple of day Cheers RE: Exhaust Doughnut Ring? - Jonny81191 - 18-12-2015 Part number is 1797 18. TBH if you give that to any motor factor they should be able to sort it for you. |
