The FMIC is that only worth fitting if you have a stage 2 remap or will it make any difference on a stage 1 remap?

What difference will you see on a standard ecu and stage 1 ecu with FMIC.

It's only worth doing if you actually get a stage 2 map, otherwise you will just have the stage 1 power, maybe 1 to 2 bhp more thanks to the cooler charge.

I found having the FMIC on stage 1 freed up the engine a fair bit

My stage 1 with cooler seemingly stopped smoking under heavy load. MPG picked up a abit as well from what i recall but this was many moons ago

If u save smoke u don't have enough air usually. Having a front mount means more oxygen and better burn so less smoke and more fuel burned and energy created rather than blowing it down the exhaust Tongue

Mine picked up a bit of mpg and power, but then it was a heavy stage 1 to begin with.
