Shock horror proctas asking a question about the 306!!
Anyway with me using the 306 more often, i want to start to sort things out now before things go tits up.
I have never been happy with the suspension setup due to the arseholes at my local motor factors giving me the wrong dampers, as i don't think the car is all that good since i changed the dampers over.
I am after more OEM, as this car is a standard road car, but i don't mind a cheeky upgrade.
what so you lads run?

Bilstein B6 / B8 + Eibach - not cheap, but about as good a compromise as you'll get on the road.
B4 + gti6 springs is also a fantastic budget setup

B4s and Eibachs/VTS Springs for slightly uprated
Or;
B6/8s, Eibachs and thicker bars for Ultimate road setup (better than most cheap coilovers too).

Xsara VTS shocks and springs are a good upgrade on a budget, but they don't match the Eibachs imo.

Eibachs with B8s here and i wouldn't use anything else. Sure theres things out there which may be stiffer and go round corners better on perfect surfaces but where do you find that in this country!?

As above tbh, b4s i find a little harsher than stock tbh, oem is probbaly best. Sachs do decent oem dampers.

Or as an alternative, Koni Yellows and Eibachs.

Iv got a set of b4s what we're on the car before I fitted my ta technics coilovers and I'm getting fed up with them now so if I fit xsara Ph1 springs will it be lower or will I need the xsara shocks to?
