making door cards to accept manual windows
#1
I'm after some manual window door cards but obviously they are rare as hens teeth, so I'm looking at adapting electric ones to accept the winder. So I need to know if the door card would work, does the card sit close enough to the door for this to work? Can someone post some pictures of their 3 door electric cards, and anyone with manual ones can you post some pictures of those up so I can try and work out some fitment.
I'm fed up of stripped doors now!
Regret giving away my door cards all those years ago!

Looking at photos there isn't going to be enough room for winder to turn, the gap on manual door cards is much larger for the 360 turn. Blacktop the drawing board Sad

I done this. Hate electric windows. Have a look on my thread. You either need the lower half and split the cards or the entire door card.

Afraid not man only pics i had were in the threads. You basically need to buy any door cards that are manual off a base spec car. Drill out all the plastic bits that they glue together and reassemble with the bottom half in place. Dont even have to stick them together as when you put them on the car they hold themselves. Smile
