Im back in a 306, well it was never gonna be long ive tried to loose the habit a number of times but i always end up back in one. Mainly bought because it was local(ish) and cheap

Its a 2 owner meridian estate on a W plate
it has done 216,000 miles
It has to be one of the cleanest 306s ive been under somehow, the last owners were in their 50s and owned it from 2 yrs old. It has then lived between bridgewater and somewhere in france from there on hence the mileage.
it was listed as spares or repairs due to local garage telling them the clutch was due soon. It slips every now and then when loading it up a hill. And it also had a short mot but the last year mot had no advisories so i wasnt worried.
One rear brake hose later it had 12 months ticket.and its now being driven daily. Ive got a clutch to fit ar some point but its not urgent. Heres a pic from the mot

I paid the grand total of 155 quid

Noo, ive fixed plenty of hdi electrical issues before its not rocket science. Wiring diagram and a multimeter

Me too I miss my china estate and like Jimbo's it was super clean underneath and ultra reliable!
Even still had the engine splash guard underneath it!
