Let me pick on this one in particular is it's the most wrong
The lords DO NOT get paid a penny for their services, they can claim expenses of up to £2/300 per day but for the Scottish lords that would barely cover a return on the train.
You contradict yourself by saying they have a "duty" to vote then in the next sentence saying they don't even have to vote to get their money.
You couldn't expect them to all turn up and vote anyway. There are 817 lords but only 250 seats in the house so if they all turn up there will be alot of old people standing and that would never work.
You cant become a lord just for having served a long time as an MP.
