This is my 306 HDI up till now
#1
I bought this in February 2014 it had no service history and look like a dog especially the n/s quarter but I don't care as I can repair the body and I don't need to drive far. It was what I was looking for 3door, HDI and China blue. When I test drive it smooth and quite a part from a wheel baring at the back and a n/s front bottom ball joint. As soon as I had a chance to get it on the ramp I changed both ball joints and give it a full service and check over and found it had a long term fuel leek diesel every ware and The n/s back wheel was buckled the cores If f*ck wheel baring and OR NO! Axel baring or shit. So I bought recon from axle direct in burnley for £200 and paint it. Over time I replaced buckled wheel repaired and painted in bmw m sport shadow paint looks great black at night and black Crome when sun on it. It's been in and out of the garage having recon'ed the injectors (1 was blocked) might be the cores of the leek or not still trying to find the cores. If had full gaskets replace and most of the bushes replaced with powerfex poly bushes. Fitted toyo proxy 4 tyres (run flat) 195/50/15 for some reason it had 185 on front. I've found on Dvla website the old MOT and got hpi check it 2 owners the thirst had a private plate up till 92000 miles and no advise on mot at this point the second owner got it put original plates back on and only repaired it for mot lots of advisories you till I got it and had 122000 miles. Since then I've been to northern Scotland to uncle lee's average 51mpg with a diesel leek and no problems a part from about 80mph and more it vibrates in the front I think it's front shocks (non gen) I'm going to fit v-maxx coilovers (eBay 300965144437) I'd like to low it 20-30mm iv seen darrenjlobb vid haw to do it. 3 weeks before FCS I spend 2 weeks doing a full respire and repair body as for rust next to non not bad for 15 year car rust isolated to exhaust hangers and under head light panel. Iv also fitted airram air filter and decat, straight through senter pipe and sport max back box 2.5-3" tip and no black smoke yet. Can anyone tell me how to get stage 1 tune

Yeah have to say thats a damn neat looking 306 Tongue great looking paint job and the wheels do look lovely as well. Nice work Smile
Glad to see another one saved tbf and in the hands of someone willing to give it some proper TLC.

I need a new axle for the rear as well Smile What was Axel Direct like to deal with? Good service?

Also to get a stage 1 all you need to do is get it mapped. Some people offer Stage 1+ which has a bit more power for cars that have a free flowing exhaust fitted. As you already have that there is no reason why you can't get the full fat stage 1 map which should get you around 125hp with bucket loads more torque low down Smile

Though the pictures look good though, china blue is so nice clean! Shame it doesn't stay that way long lol.

I had no problems with axle direct.com 0845 519 1920. Is there anyone who you recommend for the remap. It's still in mint condition and I've clocked up 129000 miles
