306 Rallye (Brazil)
#1
Hello friends !!!

I'm from Brazil.

Forget the tropical beaches and "Carnâval".
Live in southern Brazil, here it is more like Europe.
We have a winter with freezing temperatures with snow on some days.

Well, I have a Peugeot 306 years in 1999 "Rallye".
Unlike UK, the Rallye model of Brazil uses XU7JP4 engines, the 1.8 16V known.

Here in Brazil the laws do not allow passenger cars powered by diesel.
So it was not sold here any HDI model.

306 were sold in Brazil with engines, all gasoline-powered:
1.6 8V
1.8 8V
1.8 16V
2.0 8V
2.0 16V 155cv
2.0 16V 167cv (only 8 units across the country)

The models were:
3 door hatch
5 door hatch
4-door sedan
SW (Break) 4 doors
Cabriolet

All versions were sold with Ph1, Ph2 and Ph3.

My 306 is the model "Rallye" Ph2.
Over time changes made by placing a few pieces of Ph3.
I will post some pictures of the Project.

Here begin the changes.

Painting of fog lights in yellow.
And a painting full of the car.

Here photos of the car after painting.

Now the side of Ph3 spoiler.

Here interior photos.

Here new wheels.

Now with the stickers "RALLYE" UK.

But still with the old wheels.

Then came the changes in suspension.

Springs were installed the 306 GTI, cod. 5002RT.
Powerflex bushes and cushions.

The course, the Apollo 15 size wheels.

Well, I had commented before.

We have made the installation of the exhaust manifold XU10J4RS.

It was made amends in the cylinder head.

Taking advantage of the service, the camshafts were installed XU10J4RS.

I installed an air filter K & N inbox.

you mean as the laws? what it is allowed by the police?

if so,

We need to make an inspection in the traffic department to regularize the changes.
There are rules for the suspension height change, or power of engine modifications.

Friends,

I finally managed to buy the Cyclones.

Here in Brazil they are very rare and cost a lot of money...

We sat down at 3 cars, 2 from Brazil and 1 from Uruguay.

yes

We estimate that there around 10 sets of Cyclones in Brazil.

A set of Cyclone in Brazil is not sold for less than 700 Euros.
A 306 GTI exhaust manifold is not sold for less than 125 euros.
Some parts bought on Ebay, but today our currency is seriously undervalued.
The current share price is 4,13 Real (Brazil's currency) for 1 Euro.

Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Rofl Rofl

Yes, the price here in Brazil is amazing.

Imagine paying the value of the goods + freight, and then pay 100% of this amount in taxes.
