Exhaust shouldn't be too much of a restriction, look at zx volcane for example.
mine is running a 3inch downpipe from turbo then 2.5 + a single unrestrictive back box (straight pipe with baffle) so not too dissimilar
pretty amazing the amount of work you got done in weekend, shows what you can do if you put your mind (hands) to it
