power steering belt not on the pulley properly

Does anyone kno how to lossen the powere steering belt so I can slide it onto the pully properly ??

Air con or non air con? If it's aircon, there's a auto adjuster in the driver front wheel arch. There's a space in the adjuster to fit a 3/8 ratchet then you just push it loose. If it's non air con, there's a 6mm Allen key bolt down the side of the PAS pulley. Loosen that then the idler that it sits against, there's 2x 13mm bolts holding that against the PAS bracket. Loosen them and the belt will loosen off.

Yeh its aircon version

Got the power steering pump don and relised they havent put the belt on the bottom pully properly, nice one anyway ill see how it goes Smile
