Peugeot 1.6hdi gearbox.

Anyone know if these give much trouble, think its a be4r box. Have one to look at tomorrow first it started jumping out if second and now its jammed in second gear. And it was supposedly recond a few years ago. 

Just wondering if there a troublesome box?

If its the same 'box as used on the DV6 Fords I haven't heard of any problems with them!

There different Tom, box on in the fords has the selector on the top as one unit like transits etc, looked under the bonnet on the pug earlier and its a similar selector setup to an xud box etc.

That price must be a joke lol, they're like £150 for the Focus version.

Seemingly a common fault on them going by the gearbox place, box out job anyway.
