Drill it out. Or what I did was remove the carrier and got a pair of grips on the back and unscrewed it

Never drilled anything out
Wouldnt I have to re tap it? Thanks for the offer ginge how do they work. The bit that pokes out is only about 2mm Would it be able to get it out?

Couldn't happen to a nicer bloke
Grind a slot into it and use a flat head on it. Before though, heat it and give it a few twats with the hammer

Stud extractor is really the only easy way from there..

As above really, i dare say its fairly seized in there. If its corrosion, ATF mixed 50/50 with Acetone (Nail varnish remover) and sprayed on is possibly the best penetrating fluid ever!

Oh, also, be aware that the extractor kit usually ONLY includes 4/5 extractor sizes - you will some kind of "handle" to turn the extractor, either look what it includes when you buy it OR make sure you have something to use.
As said on phone, id suggest chucking the other 3 wheel bolts in for now, DONT drive it and extract it and drop a new one in asap.

Most extractors have sqaue end so adjustable spanner works fine to turn it, just make sure you make the hole as big as you can, so that you can get the most extractor in as possible to prevent snapping it off..
If you snap it, tbh id probs just swap out the hub, easier than fookin about....but should come fairly easily with extractor provided its not crossed in or anything stupid... | Dyno Power Runs & Steady State Facilities Available, Just Ask Anytime |

THAT or if you have a re-threading tool - the hand piece for that fits snug, also gives you a nice grip and a straight turn. rather than a ratchet, which could pull on one side, heightening the chance of a snap - i guess?

Personally I'd just drill a hole in it and then hammer in a torx bit. If that fails, use the next size up...
